Will we get missions that don't tell us exactly where we have to go, missions that are predicated on a player's own knowledge of the Stanton system and where they can find things?

TL;DRSuch missions are possible, such as mining or trading quotas, but they must first make sure the requested amount is achievable nearby, and moving the console screens to building blocks is a prerequisite.

Yeah, that, for instance, the mining thing. Or even trading: 'we want this amount of stuff and we will pay you this amount.' Now, we have to be sure that there is somewhere in a reasonable distance that you can get it at that price. Otherwise you take a hit, and you can take a huge hit if we don't balance that. It's the same with mining. If we ask you to get this much stuff in this amount of time, but that is just impossible in the region, we would be making poorly balanced missions there. There's some hurdles before we get there. Getting building blocks on these screens is one of the main ones, because as soon as that's out of the way, we can do the more simplistic 'please take this much of this to here'. But any ones that request an amount of things in a time, we would have to ensure are actually possible.
