How different will hard ammo weapons feel in comparison to laser weapons?asked by Digi Angel

There's several different ways that physical ammo is better or worse than lasers or any energy weapons. One of those is that physical ammo is limited, whereas lasers can, in theory, fire forever if they don't wear out. Physical ammo punches through shields better. Lasers are better at armor. Physical ammo also generates less heat because it uses less energy, except mass drivers, which use a lot.

Also, physical weapons, they'll run out of bullets though, right? There's a limit.

Yes, there's definitely a limit. Some are extremely limited.

How much control do the players have over that limit?

They might be able to add additional magazines to those guns.
