With all the talk about fire on ISC, are you planning any flamethrowers or advanced fire extinguishers for our future?
TL;DRFire extinguishers are definitely planned, including something for loadouts, while flamethrowers are only talked about and not a focus because there are already many ways to start fires and few to put them out.
Fire extinguishers, definitely.
We have fire extinguisher props already and having them function would obviously be good for that system.
Yeah, from the weapons side, we've been thinking about things that we can put out that someone could take in their loadout. So if they were, for example, playing as part of a big multi-crew ship, and one of their jobs is essentially to make sure they are literally putting out fires, running around and dealing with those, then we definitely want someone to have something on them, as well as we need to think about the props that we've got in there at the moment. So if someone is completely unprepared, they could just go and grab something and help put it out. Flamethrowers? Obviously, it's been talked about, because as soon as anyone mentions fire, flamethrowers come up. But I think at the moment, with there being so many ways to start fires and not very many ways to put them out, we want to focus on the fire extinguishers for now.
