Have you considered vocal-based tracks for the verse?

Yeah, definitely. One of the things I always love to hear is pop music and rock music and metal music. I love it. Probably because of how I was raised, I heard a lot of different styles. And one thing I always learned from my composition teacher at a classical school, who is a fabulous composer, Eurico Carrapatoso, a great, very talented classical composer here in Portugal, and he always told me, and that's also something I always believed in: there are only two kinds of music, good or bad. So you have to try to make good music, and vocals are the basis of all the music that we do. So yes, I thought about vocals, but sometimes it's not as fast to get them right. So you need a bit more time to get everything. It takes a little bit.
