What do freight elevators mean for the future of missions?
TL;DRFreight elevators open up many new mission possibilities, such as delivering vehicles, collecting parts, repair missions, loading an AI's ship, or gearing up for a raid.
They mean quite a lot. We can do a lot more now we have them. Now we have this sort of thought-out structure of how we retrieve stuff, I can give you missions where you have to deliver vehicles. I can give you missions where you have to go to a freight elevator to collect a part. Maybe we do a repair mission, where we'll put a bunch of the repair stuff in the hangar in this location. You've got access to it. Go pick it up and then bring it to the mission to sort of deem it. I could even do a mission where I make you do Tetris in an AI's hangar, where it's just, hey, load my ship up for me, and off you go and you play Tetris. It gives me a lot of power. So, yeah, I can do stuff like that. It gives me more opportunities to do it. There could be a mission where it's like, gear up for a raid. We've put all the gear in this location. Here's a box full of guns and masks and whatever else. It unlocks a lot of possibilities for missions.
