Star Citizen Live: The Pico Proposition

I had a little think before the stream of how I did it and what I was going to talk about. So it's not completely off the cuff. But yeah, I may have done it before. It might be a surprise. We'll see how far we get.

People who watch the game dev streams know that you very rarely, if ever, can make something in an hour.

In that case, yeah, the gig's up. I've made this before, guys. But I'm going to show you the steps.

For those who asked what program, you can see in the upper left-hand corner, right now we're in Substance Painter.

Yeah, so this is Allegorithmic, I believe, makes Substance Painter. We use a couple of other softwares. I think in the 890 episode that I was last on, we were using Designer. But this is Painter.

It won't be a sub-item.

I don't think we'll have time for the visor today, guys.

Yeah, maybe after the stream, I could make a few tweaks. Unfortunately, the visor requires going back to step three and adding it before we baked it down.

It's just about fidelity. It's just about they know a thing's supposed to be there and it's not there.

As for the folks who have been asking where Pico will go in the verse, we don't know yet. It won't be a subscriber flair. It won't be anything that costs money or anything. The props team was just like, we'd like to make it and stick it in the verse somewhere fun. I have no idea if or when it gets added. You guys can tell me because I honestly won't know.
