I've heard and read that a lot of the principal game mechanics are based on the individual skill of a person: dogfighting, mining, FPS. So I was wondering, how are people who are mentally and/or physically challenged able to play and enjoy the game? In other MMOs, they're able to level their characters, which helps them enjoy more of the content, even within the confines of their own abilities. I'd love to know that Star Citizen is also supporting those citizens who already have a hard time socializing or participating in social events. Are there plans to support this group of citizens? And if so, how do you think their unique requirements can be met in the game?

So one of the biggest things that we've got right now to help with this kind of accessibility is just our level of support for input devices. So if you want to play with the keyboard and mouse, if you want to play with the joystick, if you want to play with the gamepad, and then also the full remapping. So people, if they have any challenges with accessibility, they'll be able to make sure that whatever device they're using is going to be really suited to their needs for how they're able to enjoy the game.

Yeah, and also, one of the core elements of Star Citizen is having these specialization roles. So anytime we're making a new system, it's about how deep can you go and how deep do you have to go? And generally, we try to answer that as you can go pretty deep and you don't have to. If that's not you, you don't have to ever fly a ship if you don't want to. We have a full FPS game. Based on your play style and also based on your needs as a player, I think that that philosophy of focus on specialization over a more traditional progression system is going to allow people to find where they're comfortable and where they are challenged in the game that they enjoy. If it's the repair mechanic we spoke of a minute ago, or if it's turrets or shields or comms, all these things.
